Sealand was founded in 2015 by two surfers road-tripping South Africa's coast, and it still makes everything the same way: bags and apparel handcrafted from waste streams — retired yacht sails, Bedouin stretch tents, advertising billboards and recycled nylon.

Every piece is cut and sewn by craftspeople at the Hout Bay 'Campus', and the brand has grown from a Cape Town workshop into stores across South Africa and international stockists, collecting sustainability awards along the way.
