Jason Bakery

Jason Lilley built a cult following from his original Bree Street shop with serious croissants and the 'doughssant' — his croissant-doughnut hybrid, released in a new flavour every Saturday. After thirteen years the Bree Street original closed in 2020, but the baking never stopped.

Today the Green Point bakery runs on daily small batches and a pre-order-and-collect rhythm, and on weekends the stall at the Oranjezicht City Farm Market takes the pastries to Granger Bay.
